Jiahe (Ryan) Chen

Founder & Student Advocate

Jiahe (Ryan) Chen has been living with epilepsy since he was 2 years old. Throughout his journey, he has conquered many challenges that come with managing this condition while pursuing his education and dreams.

Ryan is dedicated to elevating empathy and epilepsy awareness throughout the community. He believes that understanding begins early, which is why he focuses on reaching elementary schools and kindergartens to educate young children about epilepsy.

Through children's books, community education, and youth advocacy, Ryan hopes to spread good seeds in young minds, teaching them to be compassionate, understanding, and supportive of those with epilepsy.

His mission is clear: build empathy from the earliest age, educate communities, and empower young people with epilepsy to share their voices and give back.

"Every child deserves to understand epilepsy. When we educate the youngest generation, we plant seeds of empathy that will grow into a more compassionate future."

— Jiahe (Ryan) Chen
